Today I saw a brass band perform the Pirates Of The Caribbean soundtrack. My life is complete. I actually knew which bit was coming next and everything lol.
So I was wondering, does anyone on here have any personal favourite soundtracks? From films or games.

MVP Baseball 2005 had a pretty good soundtrack.
EDIT: Oh, and any game/movie that has Chevelle in it.

I like all the classic film ones too, like Indiana Jones, Star Wars and LOTR.

I like all the classic film ones too, like Indiana Jones, Star Wars and LOTR. Took the words right oughta my mouth. Those would have been first on my list, although they are in reverse order to what I would have chosen. LOTR is a musical masterpiece (I was a music student, so I'm pretty into musical masterpieces... I wasn't always, though...) To that I would add, Morrowind. Never got tired of it (well, I did, but I love it for the memories). I loved it when in the opening of Oblivion, they made it all dire sounding. Very nice. Arcanum. The most sad, and often scary, strings backing track I have ever listened to. Fantastic. Guild Wars, but only because its fairly traditional 'fantasy' sounding. Probably some others, get back to you on that.

That reminds me! I loooove the Rome: Total War soundtrack. Has some cool Latin singing in it and everything.

Hehe. The LotR Soundtrack made me wish so very, very strongly for a good storm, a podium, a black cloak, and a conductor's baton, simply for some EPIC conducting to fit the music.
And I'm actually working on the cloak and the baton, something that will amuse you who have been waiting for my pictures greatly, undoubtedly. XD

EDIT: I also just remembered the soundtracks of Age of Empires 1 and 2 which I have on my iPod lol. Epic.

No specific favorite soundtrack, but favorite soundtrack composer would have to be John Williams.
Best movie music comes from that guy. Period. Even TV stuff too, like his NBC Nightly News theme.

I don't need the Soundtrack, I have AoE Gold Versions of both 1 and 2, so I can just fire up the actual games on a whim. ;D

Yeah I used to, but then I lost #1 and now all I want to do is play it again. Before I lost it I would never have thought of playing it, I’d just play #2, but #2 definitely has something missing; something I don’t remember 1 missing. (Come on AoE lovers, lets throw this thread off the road of on topic into the ditch of AGE OF EMPIRES! Come and talk about what you’ve never had the guts to make a thread on!)

Hmmm... I dunno, I liked AoE 2 the most, actually. IT may be because of the unique scenarios therein, but there's just something that sets it apart. It was the very first AoE I ever played as well, that may have done it. Ironically enough, despite AoE uproar whenever I say this, my fandom goes: AoE2, AoE3, and THEN AoE 1.

Yeah, I suppose my liking #1 has a lot to do with that fact I played it first and now can't find it. If I'm honest, life without castles or booking farms doesn't sound great. And... I don't play the champagnes... I should probably own up to it: I like age of empires, but I well and truly suck at it. There! I've said it
