Vincent watched with a little worry as Agrabal and Ahkil disappeared, leaving only the ward on the ground, which smoothed over a bit as a puff of win flew by. Part of him wondered why he hesitated so much, though the answer was obvious and he knew it. Liches were evil. Necromancy was largely practiced by evil individuals. He didn't spend seven years in the University to not pick up that lesson.
But still... It was likely their best chance to get to safety. And if the lich-creature was lying, was as evil as the Guild would have him believe, why did he just let the crystal man go with him alone? Now Vincent just hated himself for that. He shook his head, meditatively shaking loose those unfounded fears. He didn't have time to look at the worst of things.
He turned to the remainder of the group. He spent a brief moment, putting each face to it's name. Serena was the Spriggan-like woman. Alex was the dark woman with bladed arms. The firey man was Zinguizi, or something like it. And that left Siorra who - where was she? Vincent looked about, twisting his flat head looking for her. Did she leave already? He wondered, unable to see her in the light, thanks to her ability that he was not yet aware of.
He turned to the rest of the group that he could see, and broke the silence left after the argument, which Vincent hoped was forgotten with Ahkil and Agrabal's exit. "Well, that's it for those two. But we still need to get off the island before they come searching for us. Like I said earlier, we can probably take a boat from one of the fishing docks around here." He was implying, not too subtly to go unnoticed he hoped, that they stay in a group. Differences aside, they all still had the best chance as a group. If not simply escaping, then surviving in the wilderness. He hoped the others all saw it that way too.
