Just re-read the OP, Chaos; looks pretty good. Not sure how I feel about the whole 'sanity/paranoia' thing, though. That seems more like something the creator should decide for their own character, don't you think?
In addition, I assume you won't be killing off characters on a regular basis? I can understand if you want to ward off people from making one man stands against an entire army, but for the majority of the roleplay, I'll assume that character's fates are in their creator's hands, yes?
Other than those two points, everything looks pretty interesting. I already have an idea for a character, so I'm looking forward to this one being up and running.

OH yes, also, thats why I said 'Toying' with the percentages Idea. I could include either of those, or neither, or something completely different.
And yeah, Char Fates are going to be in the creator's hands for the most part. But, in a good example I found one time, and this actually happened...
Turning around to face a skeletal warrior with a bloody battleaxe and then just standing there, staring, is NOT a good way to stay alive; the character that did this promptly had his head chopped off because noone managed to leap to his aid. This also goes with the one man army idea; don't do it, because you'll die, fairly quickly.
Im trying to get across the point that I wont hesitate to kill a character. Not that I'll relish it, but I won't hesitate if the situation REALLY calls for it.

The Sanity idea worked well in BioShock, but TES Bioshock was more controlled environment and smaller environment than all of Vvardenfell. So considering how LONG our journey is looking to be, I don't think that a good mechanic for this sort of thing.

Yes. Myess.
Input. Moar.
Yeah, I was just thrashing out some ideas...
I want to get this acceptable before I make it, because I Dont know if my hosting skills can do much for it.

It looks sound, but is it a freeform, or have you just not yet decided to reveal the players' roles? That is, are we going to make our own way in the game, or is there some cause or objective we are striving towards? Or is it some sort of mix?

Might want to reread the OP, there. The players have to go, find the three endgame artifacts, and destroy the heart.
I don't think the corruption meter would work very well, because characters are usually self-defining. For example, if I have a morally grey character, I expect he'll do morally grey actions of his own accord.
I think that the insanity meter could work, but not if you handle things the way Lycan liked too; i.e., no dropping 20 sanity points every other post. But, I feel it would be fitting: A group of strangers traveling through a scary place where everything wants to kill you, all while being eaten away by blight. It would affect the mind, I think. I'm thinking you can keep a hidden table of all the character's sanity, and whenever a particularly traumatic event occurs, you can discuss via pm about whether that character should faint, develope a phobia, or some other mental tick.

Yes; they do have to find the three endgame artifacts, and I'm going to imply strongly that they have to find the soulgems too; Valenth isn't a wimp without the heart, unlike Ur and what everyone else thinks.
And god no; that was one thing I was going to avoid if I implemented either of those systems.
I'll be back to think like a human later.

Oh, didn't catch that. That works, then. The insanity meter seems ok...but it seems kind of awkward. Insanity can be used to describe various mental oddities, and bundling them all into one percentage seems strange, but I suppose it could work. As for the corruption, I'm less sure. It seems too close to the alignment system, which I can't stand.

Insanity meter you say?
... Janus... Tassildor.
All in all, it looks like an interesting one, though I haven't played Morrowind in years upon years, so expect me to mess up a little bit. The others here seem to know what they're talking about though, so I guess they'll nudge me back into place. xD

Nudge... push you over a cliff... you can be in many places, Web, if it's our job to sort it out. Keep your eyes peeled. <_<
I'm not so much a fan of you killing my character or dropping madness or corruption onto them. I rather like to do that myself. If you tell me that in this RP, my character is supposed to suffer in difficult situations, I am perfectly happy to hideously disfigure them, cripple them, and torture them into thinking their three years old again. Sounds like the good old days, back when I was a newbie, in fact. (I liked to destroy people to pave the way for other people to destroy...)

Oh, no...For the most part, I'm not going to kill anyone. I've decided to nix corruption; it is too much like an alignment scale.
However, what I was thinking for insanity was not that your character IS insane, but rather the chance and severity to develop anything odd...
However, I may nix them both.
QuickFix: Also, if your character is naturally insane, and I keep the insanity scale, by all means, tell me to set it high or at 100%.

But I like it ^_^ I've got a character ready to lose his mind, if you want him to. Just waiting now.

Hey Hey, GUESS WHAT!?!
Iiiiiiim back. And i revised the OP a little bit. IN, I'd still like to know if I can use the Heros Section (Forgot to Ask, but I think its cool to know a little about the chars).
This will be Semi-Freeform; I'd prefer that you mainly (And your main character) stays with the group, but any secondary characters (If applicable) can feel free to go off or form their own little story. For the most part, though, you've got your goal; Find the three artifacts, and make sure you destroy that heart. Oh, and if anyone is interested in sub-hosting (I'll be absent for bits and bobs of the summer, and I'm terribly busy.) please tell me; I could use an advisor, or someone to just keep it running if I go absent. Oh wow! I just noticed that Im a waker, located just above my creepy prancing green llama of terror and penguins. Ill be making the character sheet thread in a moment; Im going to play a round of smash ball first to cool my nerves. Also, I should make a new thread for this right?
