So, we're guests of the Imperial Palace, are we? Will couldn't help but break out in a slight grin; those were some damn fancy gigs right there. He was more accustomed to staying in places where you should expect to be woken up at any point in the night by another brawl downstairs. Of course now, he supposed he could be woken up at any time by some politician...
He turned to Zhira, who had suddenly become rather quiet. "What do you say we head up to our rooms? See what kind of room service this place has. Don't know about you, but I'd wrestle a land dreugh for a decent meal at this point." He really did kind of like Zhira: she seemed like a down to earth kind of woman, not to mention she was his only kin in the group. But...he also felt protective of her. She was blind, and he couldn't very well expect her to protect herself in that condition, could he?
And then there were the others...they'd all seemed to know one another, somehow. They hadn't said anything to make Will think that, but...something about the way they acted. The Redguard furrowed his brow. Maybe he was just being paranoid?
He turned back to Zhira, and awaited her response.

Jo'Dar paused upon hearing the native tongue of the Khajit. She turned back to find Brisbane telling her not to bother with the noblewoman.
"Well, well, this is unusual. Not many humans would attempt our tongue. Be glad you didn't insult me." Jo'Dar smirked, just revealing the tips of sharp teeth. "I daresay you are none too fond of anyone with power of any kind."
Jo'Dar let her magic that fueled her sight dim so as not to drain her unduly. With her magic down like this, Brisbane was only a colorless blob with a semi-clear outline. Jo'Dar knew that she would have to be careful around the pirate more so than ever to hide her weakness. But at the same time, Brisbane was interesting.
"Walk with me, pirate? We seem to be heading in the same direction and I would like to hear about the life of a sea-thief."
