The harsh bright lights flickered on and off and people groaned. A Kadas'sa'Nikto grabbed his green skinned and horned head in agony as he tried to focus his beady black eyes. He looked around, his mind swimming, hearing a familiar voice calling out to him, "Kliraat! Are you alright?"
Kliraat's eyes finally focussed to find a human male kneeling in front of him, one of the shuttle's Flight Staff. Kliraat had talked to him on several occasions, generally about the different classes of Starship and their pro's and con's.
The human reached out and shook his shoulder, which Kliraat angrily flicked away, it was the last thing he needed right now.
"Get off me, Smoothskin," he replied, standing on weak legs. "What happened?"
The Human frowned and looked at the Nikto for a moment before shrugging, Kliraat only just noticing a deep gash on the Human's forehead. "I don't know, we were heading over the Lehon System when I think something hit us, either that or it was the greatest gravitational pull I've ever felt..."
Kliraat cricked his neck and leant over and grabbed up his 434 Blaster Pistol and holstered it, "Let's get out of this mess," he said, beginning to walk away to a big gaping hole in the hull in the Mess Hall, revealing a white beach and crystal ocean outside.
"Wait!" cried the Human, reaching out and grabbing the Nikto's arm firmly. "Some people are dead; we have to help them."
"Feel free, Smoothskin, but what did they ever do for me?" Kliraat snapped back, yanking his arm away from the Human's grip.
The Human glared at the Nikto as he picked his way through a mass of bodies, some unconscious, dead or just dazed. As the relatively bright sunlight assaulted his eyes, Kliraat held a clawed hand to his eyes and stepped onto a beach, avoiding a large chunk of debris.
He chucked a hunk of metal out of the way and sank to the soft sand and crossed his legs: Kliraat would only help those who helped themselves.
OOC: I'm on the same shuttle as Vrek and Uglius btw ;D

Traynu peered out of the hull, the side of the ship was a burnt mess. Dead bodies floated in the water and their was signs of movement on the beach itself. "Damnit." He mumbled, as he looked down, he was still over the ocean and with his arm broken he wouldn't be able to do anything. He sighed and looked around him again, he turned on his monocle, instantly the device showed a small green screen infront of his left eye, it was directly linked into his rifle and showed a large dot which indicated the general area of where the rifle would hit.
He held the large gun with his right arm and began to make his way down the ship towards the beach, there would surely be a window or a door he could blast open. Afterall, he still had his two thermal detonators. He felt a twinge of fear as he realised he was stranded, the crew was either dead or dying and Jawa Scavengers were already at the scene.
He made it to a door and typed in an opening code but the device was broken, he frowned and stepped back before aiming at the locking mechanism. He tightened his grip on the gun and fired a single shot, the red laser hit the keypad and blew it up, causing several sparks to ignite. The door opened swiftly and Traynu moved on, his large ears trying to pick up any movement around him, That blaster shot should've alerted someone in this thing.

OOC: Fish, the segment that Gul and Julianna were in (and also Maifez), was on one side, but like Vrek said, who's to say there weren't segments in other angles as well?
IC: Gul Ken'tar's ears perked as the sharp twangsptt of a blaster shot echoed across the expanse of the beach. Evidently, not only had somebody survived, but they were armed and now firing their blaster at something. Or someone, The Kaminoan thought grimly. Standing up to his full height, Ken'tar drew one of the two disruptor pistols holstered in his armpits and checked the power settings. He lowered the power setting so it wouldn't fire a lethal disintegration blast, but would merely hurt instead. No need to kill a potential asset.
"Who is out there?" He called out, dropping from atop the wreck and into the sand below.

The sharp sound of a Blaster woke Alex Finn from her pain-induced state of delirium. She clenched her jaw as her heart pounded in her ears and she tried to focus her perceptions. She became instantly aware of a hot pain along her shoulder and the warmth of her own blood dripping down her dark brown robe. The Human groaned in pain and looked around: she was in a small cabin, two others lay dead on the floor and blood was splattered on the ceiling.
Alex coughed the dust out of her throat before trying to find the door, but it was nowhere to be found. She quickly checked her lightsaber was at her side before picking her way through the two dead people in her Cabin and reaching the opposite wall. Alex looked around before taking her lightsaber from her belt and plunging the green blade into the metal of the fuselage of the Shuttle. She cut a circle before kicking it in and shielded her eyes against the bright shafts of sunlight that penetrated the gloom of her Cabin.
Alex was instantly drawn to a pair of Force Sensitives; a Kaminoan and what she assumed was a Miraluka drop from among the tall wreckage and begin to walk along the stunning white beach. She pulled her tattered robe around her and hurried off after them, lightsaber still in hand.
"Excuse me?" Alex asked, coming up behind the two. "I need your help, there are still plenty of people alive but I can feel their badly hurt."
Alex was instantly drawn to the lightsaber at their sides, "Who are you?"

OOC: If you didn't know, Miraluka are humanoids without traditional eyes, and considering Julianna wears a headscarf, it would be impossible to identify her as one. Think Visas Marr from KotOR II. Just so you know. Julianna watched as her father jumped from the top of the upturned vessel down to the sandy beach. She had always had a bit of a fear of heights, so she sat down at the edge, looking down. Evidently, this fear of heights unfortunately repressed her use of the force due to her anxiety, so she was not able to trust her ability to cushion her jump. Smiling coyly, she outstretched her arms and legs, waiting for Gul to lift her down.

OOC: For future reference, Gul Ken'tar is a practitioner of the Quey'tek Meditations, which effectively makes the user invisible to other Force Adept's Force senses. (Count Dooku, Asajj Ventress, Jacen Solo, Luke Skywalker, Kreia and Jolee Bindo are examples of individuals who used that power from time to time)
IC: Ken'tar reached out with his mind and instantly felt the familiar warm power of the Force flowing into him and through him. The invisible energy wrapped around Julianna like a soft rope and slowly levitated her down to the ground. Gul made a mental note to include more levitation lessons when he was tutoring Julianna.
The Kaminoan turned to the woman who had approached. Her presence, like virtually every Jedi, screamed JEDI in the Force, but he kept his visage calm. Although he'd once been a member of the Order, a girl that young likely did not know about his brief stint at the Academy.
"We are nobody you need concern yourself with, Jedi." Ken'tar replied to the human coldly, "But if you truly want to know, use your own mind rather than ask questions for a change." The Kaminoan gestured to the massive wreck, "Who do you think we are, other than survivors of this crash, as you obviously are as well?" Gul tsked slightly, "Skywalker's standards are falling if they let you out on your own, Padawan."

OOC: True, but that's how Alex would have identified her, especially if she has come across other Miraluka's, not to mention a unique Force signature as well...
IC: Alex calmed herself but despite her training found she was irritated with the Kaminoans attitude. She stood proudly and put her shoulders back with her hands behind her back. "I am a Jedi Knight, not a Padawan, Kaminoan. I have passed my trials." She shook her head to clear it and continued, "I was not simply asking you who you were, but why you carry a lightsaber? No matter, will you at least put your obvious differences behind you and help me rescue people from the wreckage?"

Traynu heard a voice ring out, he ducked down against the wall and held fast. His rifle pointed at the direction which the noise made. It wasn't far off, which made him worry, with a Jawa being nearby, is it possible that this man would be leading a scavenging party? They tended to be vicious people with little care about who they killed... He breathed a deep sigh and stood up again, deciding to quicken his pace a little.
He got to another door and found himself in a ruined corridor, on both sides of the room were doors, he made his way towards one and it opened sharply, showing what was left of a dorm room. He winced at the sight of one of the dead bodies and moved on, guessing that the door at the end of the corridor was a way onto the beach.
He hurried towards it and it opened swiftly, he smiled to himself as he was faced with a lush forest of green exotic plants and bright white sand. He peered through the door and leapt into the forest, he then began to make his way, carefully towards where he had heard the voice, only turning back to look at the small block of ship which he had just came out of.

Gul Ken'tar's neck bobbed gracefully as he nodded, "Very well, Padawan." His large almond-shaped eyes flicked over to the wreckage. He couldn't sense any life inside. But again, my reinforced quey'tek meditations have forced me to shield myself both ways. The only way I'll know if somebody's in there is if they try to attack me.
Even so, the Kaminoan was not about to let the Jedi child know that. True, she was a grown woman, but to his seventy year old mind, her youthful exuberance and general bounce to her step made her seem like a child to him. Or perhaps that's because I'm so disillusioned I look at anybody who enjoys life like that with contempt. Either way, it didn't matter.
"You are correct, there are others inside." Ken'tar stated. "There is a smaller being in that general area." He pointed to where Julianna had told him she'd sensed a definite life sense. "There are still others inside. I can feel them as well." Let her think I am some kind of a master, Ken'tar decided, It will make it easier to keep her under control. He pointed at a bulkhead hatch that was once horizontal, and now pointed at the sky, "Cut that open. It will make it easier to facilitate the rescue of survivors."

Maifez stand on the ship now amazed that the two figures ahead of him had jumped off and that one had seemed to just float. The large Sullustan gets to edge were the two figures had droped off and saw people below.
"Excuse me, Excuse me.... Pasengers of this ship if i may have your attention!" The Purple Sullustan shouts from atop the ship.

Several hours earlier...The controls jerked and shuddered beneath Darwin Lissiri's hands, as he desperately tried to keep the bucking ship, a simple YT-1210 freighter, underneath his control. "Cursed piece of junk..." He muttered through clenched teeth, normally smooth and reassuring voice coming out as strained and tense. The flat, disc-like surface of the YT was trembling like a frizbee in a hurricane, first tilting side to side before spinning outright like a crazed coin being tossed through space. There was only a single planet in this system, surrounded by a massive field of debris, which was making this little joy ride only even more hard, forcing him to play chicken with large chunks of debris even as he fought the controls for supremacy. Several times he had felt his heart stop, as he had approached a large piece of debris, only to have one of the lucky shudders of the ship make him shy away from it, sent spinning towards the planet itself. Even now, a piece of debris managed to make life difficult, though this time by ripping a large hole all the way across the top of it, threatening to destroy the ship outright. Forced to make a landing, Darwin directed the YT, as best as he was able, towards the planet's surface, which sparkled with a, usually, beautiful beach and azure seas. It was almost peaceful, serene, and Darwin would have loved to take a vacation on the planet. You know, had he not been spinning uncontrollably in space, spelling almost certain death. The ship screamed into the atmosphere, flames billowing all around it as it sliced downwards, rushing towards the thin line where beach met sea. He was vaguely aware of other wrecked ships dotted all over the landscape, but at the moment, his attention was locked firmly on the crash that he was about to experience. The spinning world grew larger and larger, ground and sea rushing up to meet him, and filling his view... The world shuddered and jerked, Darwin finding himself slamming into the ship's hull. The chaos of the ship's crash threw him in every which direction, his head cracking off of one of the pieces of equipment. The world faded, and grew dark... --- Now...Silence settled around the crashed freighter, smoke still curling from where a fire had broken out near its engines, setting the wiring and the ship's engine itself ablaze and assuring that the freighter would never fly again. The only sound was the ambient life that seemed to not be aware of the ship's crash, apparently quite used to the scene. In all ways, it seemed like all life had perished in the landing, and the sea, that was gradually pulling the smoking ruin outwards as it washed away at the sand beneath and around the sides of it, was going to simply quietly claim another hulk of metal for its depths. At least, until the crimson blade sliced through the metal, the lightsaber blade cleaving through the durasteel as though it weren't even present. It held still for a moment, humming and spitting as the melted metal ran down the hull, before tracing in a simple, large circle, leaving a glowing red-hot trail of sliced metal behind it. Once the cut reached the beginning of the circle, the blade withdrew back into the ship with a small *Hiss*, leaving the circle of metal to fall outwards, clanging noisily off the wreckage to embed itself in the sand below. Darwin crawled out of the hole, bruised and bloodied from the rough landing. His mind was fogged, his movements sluggish, and his balance... Well, he had no balance, as was proved when he slipped on the moist metal, to follow the circle that he had cut off the hull. He tumbled down the wreckage, earning a few more bruises on the way down, to land with a soft *Thump* in the sand beside the circle of metal that he had cut earlier. Dazed, he lay where he had fallen, trying to get a idea of just what was surrounding him. OOC: This should be the same beach as the wrecked shuttle. Let me know if I need to change anything.

Traynu edged closer to the figures he could see through the thick forest. He checked his arm, it was still hanging loosely but aslong as he didn't make any sudden movements with it, there was little pain.
He stood up behind a large tree and peered out, there were three figures, a small girl, a tall kaminoan and a human woman. He'd never really, seen a Kaminoan, he'd walked past them, or seen them in starports. They were huge, and that made Traynu uneasy.
He frowned and went towards them, stepping out of the forest he hoisted his weapon and propped it under his right arm, his left hanging loosely by his side. He aimed at the tall Kaminoan and looked at the three of them again, "Where did you come from?" He asked, he hoped they were members of the crash, for if they weren't. It was a two on one fight and he was badly wounded.

Alex looked long and hard at the Kaminoan, reaching out with her perceptions but finding his mind strangely unresponsive, suggesting he knew more about the Force than he let on. She turned to the wreckage he had pointed out when a Sullustan came out of the thick and exotic forest.
"Where did you come from?" asked the Sullustan, raising his rifle and aiming it the Kaminoan.
As soon as the Sullustan raised his arm, the green blade of her lightsaber extended and Alex raised it in front of her.
"Lower your weapon, Sullustan," she said calmly, placing her other hand outward in a calming gesture. "We are survivors of this crash..." Alex extended her perceptions, "Just like you."

Kliraat looked around, beginning to realise his thirst and hunger were getting the better of him. Holding his head, he picked himself up from the ground with a small groan of pain and steadied himself before looking around, hoping to find some survivors of the crash who were getting things together, and hopefully some food and water.
He spotted a small group of people, one of which had drawn a green lightsaber. He opted to stay back and watch what happened next, but he put his hand on his left Blaster, just in case...
