Darwin's gaze moved from person to person as they revealed their names and, in the case of the Jedi, Alex, their affiliations as well. The Kaminoan was a bit more intelligent in his response, giving the name only, and leaving other information hidden. Darwin allowed himself a small laugh inside, though his expression didn't change. Much like Darwin would be doing, the man kept his cards close to his chest, that was good. The Sullustian didn't introduce himself, simply stared at Darwin for some reason, but that wasn't really important. Darwin had already read and then dismissed the Sullustian as mere baggage, cargo.
"Darwin Lissiri." He introduced himself, bowing slightly. Used to bowing only to his Master, he did it in much the same way that he had done years ago, his right arm folded against his stomach, hidden lightsaber comforting against his body, and his left arm folded behind his back, in an almost gentlemanly, elegant bow. His greeting done, he straightened once more, taking a more neutral stance once more.
"I would pool my resources, but I'm afraid..." He began, before tapping the pistol at his side with his left hand. "... I only have this to work with on me." He explained, nodding towards the others. "My ship as well was rather devoid of anything of use, the cargo hold didn't even contain that much food. I had planned to resupply at the next city that I docked at." This wasn't necessarily true, he had had some other small droids and things in his cargo hold for his training, but why should he tell them that? That was his stuff. They weren't about to get their grubby alien hands on it. Besides, it sounded good enough to get him off the hook.
OOC: Gah, so many species, so hard to keep track! lol

Yu' had stumbled and landed against a tree. He slide down the trunk and was now in a sitting position against it. His wounds fatigued him and the loss of blood didn't help. He had taken a quick little nap to help with the healing process. Or that's what he had told himself. In all actuality he had passes out from the pain or the sudden drop.
He was now waking up and his eyes felt like they had been sewn shut. He yawned and looked directly into the sun, causing him to flinch and look away. Then, something moved in front of the sun, casting a shadow over him. He clnced up to see the face of a dirty human.
'Stand up alien, and no funny business. I want to see your hands and I want your weapons.' The human said, pointing a serious looking blaster right at his nose.
Yu' reckoned this wasn't the time to fight and he grudgingly submitted his rifle and sword to the now what appeared to be 6 humans.
'Miller, take this man back to base camp and inform our new leader what we just picked up. Gude, go take a squad a little south to go see about the other crash sites, and Tavers go see this mans shuttle and see if it's got any parts we can use.' The leader of the group barked.
Looking down at Yu' he whispered 'Why are you still conscious?', swinging the Charric in a wide strike to his forehead. Least to say he didn't remember much after that.

Ken'tar narrowed his eyes slightly. There was something not right...
His sight shifted to take in the edge of the forest that bordered on the beach just as a handful of people approached. They were a motly assortment of aliens dressed in various clothes and mismatched pieces of armor. Their weapons and equipment identified them to be scavengers of some sort.
"Looks as if we are not the only survivors." The Kaminoan surmised, turning to face the approaching Scavengers.
"We are the Scavengers!" A Rodian called out from the group, obviously their leader. Very unique name. Gul thought to himself. "We see your ship crash. You come join Scavengers, or we break you and you be in our camp anyway, as being prisoners!"
Ahh, so a choice is given. Join the Scavengers or fight when they attack us, which they undoubtedly will at some point. It would be interesting to see who gave in to the scavengers and who banded together. Gul Ken'tar, though, was not about to roll over. "We will not join you, Pirates, criminals and desperate thieves. That is what you amount to." The Kaminoan reached for his weapon, should these Scavengers prove to be as tough as they looked.
OOC: Sorry for the long-time-coming post. I've been kinda busy.

Traynu grinned and brought out a hidden thermal detonator, he hid it behind him, showing it to anyone he saw, he didn't want the survivors to be killed. "I've never seen a Rodian in charge of anything but several other rats." He said to himself curiously. His rifle was on the floor next to him in the sand, it would be a bit of a bitch to lift up with only one hand, but he could do it.

While the others PREPARED for battle, Darwin was not one to waste any sort of time. "Oh you have got to be kidding..." He muttered under his breath, as he noted the small group of 'Scavengers' as they call themselves emerge from the forest. They demanded them become Scavengers themselves, or become prisoners. HA! As if they and their small band could take both him, who should be able to handle them solo, a Jedi, and a likewise group of survivors, all of which were armed. "First thing that happens, is an insect comes to threaten us." Darwin continued, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
Darwin's right hand became a blur, as it dropped rapidly down to the blaster pistol on his left side. For a moment he had been tempted to simply ignite his lightsaber and carve the group to pieces, but it was for the best if he kept that secret still, at least until it was necessary to reveal it. Which, if he played his cards right, would be only when it was too late for the survivors to do anything about it. The blaster pistol left its sling quite easily, as Darwin brought it up to bear at the Rodian, the leader of the back. "Die, bug eyes." He said, his voice dripping a dark pleasure at finally getting to kill again, before his finger tightened on the trigger.

Dark shapes became visible through Torakat's vision, a bright sun appearing as a small orb of light in the corner of his eye. The sound of crashing waves and rustling foliage could be heard not far from where he was, and he could feel sand beneath him.
Sand? Am I at a beach? Agh!
He jerked a hand to his head as he felt a throbbing pain return to it. He sat up with difficulty and looked around, straining to remember what had happened. He put his hands on the ground for support and rose to his feet, standing still for a moment as the blood rush blinded him for a few seconds. When he regained his balance, he looked at the scene around him: two bodies, a camp site, and a patch of scorched ground. The events that had taken place before blacking out returned him, and his heart sank again as he remembered that he was stranded here.
Shaking his stiff body, he listened intently to the surrounding area. He could hear the water from the shore where the Alaris had landed. Figuring the shore would be a deal safer than where he was now, he headed through the path that they had used earlier immediately. The sound of the fight could have either scared away or attracted something, and taking the chance didn't seem particularly appealing.
He walked steadily through the sandy path; running would only tire him, which could prove fatal. Still, being alone in the present woodland made him uneasy. He drew the blaster at his side and held it nervously. He was a terrible shot, but it was better than being unarmed.
This isn't so bad, maybe. I'm not hurt, and I haven't seen anything hostile yet. And there must be someone on this planet.
The shore came into view, a welcome sight. Torakat looked to the left, squinting his black eyes. Nothing as far as he could see. Next he looked to the right. This time there was something in sight: a large, bulky object, and there appeared to be a few other bits of it surrounding it. From it's appearance, Torakat guessed, it was a shuttle or ship of some sort, and less than a mile away! With this came the newfound hope of other sentient lifeforms; the Chadra-Fan jogged along the shoreline towards the site eagerly.
---------------------------------------------
By the time he was within 100ft of the wreckage, Torakat could tell two other things from what he saw: the ship had crashed, and there were survivors; he could see them, and fairly well, with his sight. Chadra-Fans' senses were more acute than that of most other species'. Still, he was a fair distance away. He could make out a couple of human-like forms, and one that was very, very tall compared to the others.
He walked at a fast pace now, staying cautious as to not be mistaken for a hostile. At least, that was what he was hoping to do. He came within 50ft of them, and could see the people more distinctly. He waved his arms and, without thinking, called out to them in Chadra-Fan, a language that sounded mostly like squeaking noises.
"Hello! Hello! Is anyone inj-"
He was cut short as a blaster shot was heard, and Torakat stopped abruptly and jumped back, thinking it was fired at him and bracing for the shot. It never came. Lowering his arms and looking up nervously, he looked to see what had been fired at.

Julianna shied away as Gul and the other adults spoke, and, seeing as she had always been taught to respect those of greater experience than her, she remained silent and listened to their conversation, though her distaste for some of them mingled in her mind. Her father's condescension had rubbed off on her a little, as she was always confident in her ability to protect her, so she was always very judgmental. She analyzed each of the other survivors, noting their speculated combat ability, as she had been taught to do at a young age, just in case a battle broke out between them. Her analysis slowed when it came to Darwin, as he was, for some reason, difficult to read. Julianna could tell, however, that he had a dark aura about him.
"There's something about that one with the blaster pistol, something dark. I can see it about him[/color]," Julianna relayed to Gul telekinetically, as he had trained her to do for situations such as these.

Traynu watched as the man in the black robe lifted up a small blaster. He smirked, "Listen kid, go bring a real gun to this fight, not a toy." He added with a chuckle, his fingers feeling the detonator, the button which would activate the grenade was being fondled by his thumb, he was ready to throw it at a moments notice, there was a nice slab of metal to his left and the hull just a little further.

Gul Ken'tar arched an eyebrow as the human man shot the Rodian Scavenger clean between the eyes. The surprising attack set the Scavengers off guard for a handful of seconds, but then they scattered, raising blasters and slugthrowers.
"He seemed to enjoy that killing. Keep an eye on him!" Ken'tar remarked telepathically to Julianna. He sprinted for cover as the acrid smell of ozone filled the air, taking Julianna by the hand and pulling her along to safety. Red laser fire spewed across the beach, blowing chunks from the boulder Ken'tar crouched down behind. He thumbed the safety off his disruptor and set it to medium power; the heavy pistol had enough power to fully disintegrate a target, but that kind of a shot was a major drain on the energy cells. For now, Gul would settle for some excruciatingly painful cell disruption.
The Kaminoan's disruptor barked in his hand as he squeezed the trigger, sending lances of blue energy across the sand in contrast with the screaming blaster energy. One Scavenger went down when his thigh shattered under the disruptor's lethal power, and Ken'tar was forced behind cover again by a spurt of energy from a rapid-fire carbine.
The Kaminoan cursed under his breath as the laser carbine-weilding Scavenger hosed down the boulder Gul used as cover. While it was true that he could activate his lightsaber and boldly stride into the center of the clearing, or perhaps leap across the beach and start severing limbs, Gul had come to a decision. It is best that they do not think of me as an Adept in the Force. The Jedi woman will know that I have some kind of resistance, but all I need do is claim that my lightsaber is a trophy from a fallen victim.
"Get rid of that carbine!" Gul yelled over the din from behind the boulder that was slowly, but steadily growing smaller with every laser shot that chipped a slice of stone away.

The few seconds that the Scavengers paused after Darwin shot the Rodian were all that he required. In their time to come to the startled realization that their leader had just been shot, he was already moving, his training telling him to get to cover quickly. The last thing you wanted was to end up in the line of fire of a group of people all firing blasters at you, after all.
He supposed he could simply ignite his lightsaber and take a Form III stance to ward off the multitude of shots, hopefully getting a few of them in the reflected fire, but that would be dangerous, as his mastery of Form III was weak at best. He had always had a distaste for the defensive nature of the form, finding it much less of a useful tool, thanks to his nature, than Djem'So, or Makashi. Makashi in particular was a favorite, as he loved the aggressive, confident, but still elegant style that it posed.
His momentary distraction on the forms of lightsaber combat he could have chosen by now nearly cost him, as a blaster bolt zipped over his shoulder as he reached his own bit of cover, which was a bit of shuttle engine that had found itself embedded in the beach. It was lying length-wise, so Darwin had to drop down to a half-crouching, half sitting position to get the cover that he needed, but this was actually to his benefit, as it offered him something to steady his aim when he blindly returned the fire.
Apparently, though, Darwin's marksmanship was less than admirable, as no Scavenger fell to his blind shots, at least that he could tell. There was no let up of blaster shots, as they slammed into and scorched the metal engine, the aggressive Scavengers showing off a kind of berserk 'Spray them all' attack style. Perfect, though they couldn't hit them, they still managed to keep them suppressed.
"Get rid of that carbine!" Came a cry from somewhere else on the beach, as the rapid bursts of fire from a laser carbine began to echo over the sands. Darwin simply sank down further behind his cover, unwilling to put his own neck on the line to pop out and take a shot. "Yeah, good luck with that one..." He muttered underneath his breath, as he waited for an opening to fire back.

Traynu grinned as the fight broke out, he gripped the thermal detonator tightly and pressed down on the ignition button before throwing it into the crowd of scattering targets, and more importantly, at the carbine wielding fool. He bent down, grabbed his rifle and dived between a large sheet of metal.
"Grenade!" He shouted and a second later a large explosion burnt the limbs of anyone in it's range. Well, that's bound to turn a few heads. he thought as he knelt up, propped the rifle under his arm and began to fire at targets, his shots weren't accurate, but if he hit something, he knew he'd kill it.
ooc: I did some editing in my post btw.

Gul Ken'tar glared lasers at the thick-headed Sullustan. If he had primed that detonator to emit too big of a charge, he could have vaporized us all! Even so, the armed Sullustan's grenade was effective, and the sputter of the carbine fell silent. Gul's ears were ringing, and he was amazed that the Sullustan wasn't injured by the audible blast of the explosion. Unless he is wearing sonic dampers to protect his oversensitive ears, and turned them up ahead of time. In that case, anything Gul was likely to say to him would fall upon deaf ears - literally.
Instead, the Kaminoan spun around the boulder to track his weapon onto a target, but the remaining Scavengers had fled, frightened off by Traynu's heavy firepower. Either running in fear or to get reinforcements. Gul decided, slowly standing up from a crouch as he left the safety of the boulder.
All together, the fight had lasted barely a few seconds, but even that was enough to have the Kaminoan's danger senses flaring and his heart pounding.

Torakat jumped yet again as the firefight broke out. What was worse, he was in the open, standing in the middle of a beach in the sand armed with nothing but a blaster that was no good at this range. Doing the only logical thing at the moment, he ran for the wood line as fast as his short legs could carry him, sand being kicked up behind him as he did.
His blaster in his right hand, he dove for cover as soon as he found himself in the relative safety of the trees. He sat crouched behind a large tree and its surrounding brush. He sat there for several moments until he realized that no shots were being fired in his direction, mostly to his relief, partially to his confusion.
Poking his head around the edge of the tree, he tried to get a look at what was going on not far from him. All he could see were some people firing, and others firing back. He didn't know who was in what group, who the aggressors were, just some of who was involved. But he could tell that the people nearest to the shuttle were armed with better weaponry, while the ones farther away seemed to be fighting with salvaged equipment. Unable (and unwilling) to do anything else, Torakat stayed put, blaster in hand, watching the ongoing fight and wondering whether the victors would be hostile.

Yu' awoke inside of a small, hastily built shack. It was made of wood from a recently chopped tree. The only reason he could tell was because the inside of it was still wet. Almost as if the tree was bleeding. The sap rolled off of it, slower than Yu' would've liked.
He had been awake for only minutes when he heard a commotion in the camp. The door was closed so he couldn't see who was yelling but what he heard was bad news.
"They killed them!"
"Grosh is dead! What do we do?!"
"Right between the eye's!"
He heard footsteps leading up to the door and then someone opened it. Something stepped through the opening and into his room. A large, black reptile looked at him. Ripples of fear ran through Yu's body and he knew today was not his day.
OOC: Hk, this is you

Small puffs of steam drifted from the dark scaled being's nostrils as he stood menacingly over the blue-skinned Chiss. Standing at over two meters tall, Darth Venge's heavily muscled form dwarfed the Chiss.
Venge stepped fully into the pathetic hut the Scavengers had built to house prisoners in. His wings remained tucked against his back, but his thick tail was in danger of knocking against the doorframe as he entered. The anthropomorphic ("Human-ish" for those of you who don't know what that word means) dragon man crossed his arms over his bare chest. "Your kind isn't seen around here very often." He began in a deep, grating voice that sounded like rocks tumbling down a cliff, "In fact, I haven't seen your race anywhere near Lehon before."
Abruptly, Venge lashed out with a backhand slap, intending to use his heavy knuckles to bash the Chiss' jaw. "What are you doing on Lehon, Chiss? How badly damaged was your craft in the crash?"
