Redundant title, I know.
Dear forumgoers, I come to you with an offer. Those of you who play Morrowind may have heard of or use the fantastic series of mod known as the Less Generic NPCs project (LGNPC for short). For those of you who haven't heard of it, LGNPC aims to completely rewrite the dialogue for Morrowind's NPCs, giving them a personality, making them seem more like good characters rather than walking Wikipedias.
Another modder, Fliggerty, recently released Fligg's Slave Mod, which allows the buying and selling and general improvement of slaves. The mod was fantastic, and it opened up a whole new roleplaying aspect to slaves. But the problem was that the slaves lacked personality entirely, having rather bland responses to everything.
This sparked an idea. I contacted both Fliggerty and Cyrano (a leading representative of the LGNPC team), and got their permission for said idea. The idea is this: to give every slave in Morrowind a personality, unique dialogue, and backgrounds, incorporating Fligg's Slave Mod. (If the work is good enough, it would be along the lines of a LGNPC: Slaves mod)
This is where you come in. I am looking for writers, who are capable of creating engaging and unique characters, and are able to really get inside a character's head.
Fellow roleplayers came to mind.
All that is pretty much an elaborate way of asking, "Wanna try your hand at writing for a mod?"
I would really like to see what you guys could do with this sort of thing, and before I take this idea elsewhere, I'd like to see what you ladies and gents thought of it.
