EDIT: FC4: It's that chap with the Grecian soldier avatar, Peleus. I can't remember ever RPing with him before, so I can't say anything from firsthand experience. But considering you allowed him to play a Dark Brotherhood vampiric assassin (gotta love the originality there), I don't think he has the right to complain. When someone chooses to RP a vampire or werebeast, they have to understand the downsides to that, and be able to handle it. More so with vampires, I think, being as most RPs take place during the day hours. As for action, again, that's his own doing. An assassin wouldn't be able to get much of it in the first place. For direction, that's largely up to the players. A DM (or RP host, whatever you like to call it) can cause the players to lose a lot of liberty by either spoon-feeding them every single plot device or forcing the players through the plot. The players need to think- they need to take initiative. Look at TES: Bioshock; it's gone on for about a year now and Lycan hasn't had to do anything but react to the players' actions, because the players already go about on their own. Hope that helps. *shrug* I'm trying to mimic that with Stranded, though I am likely failing. Or maybe I am succeeding in making something different. Not sure yet. But yeah, never heard of this guy.

Well, it's a little early to make that judgment, but it seems to be going swimmingly so far.

Wise as ever, Tom. I hope that that ordeal turns out well. By the way, are you planning on rejoining Terra Guild on BGSF? There's an actual plot now, courtesy of BSparrow and FC4. And you haven't fallen behind at all; the people who were at that tavern where you stopped have just left.

...Ooops, I've forgotten completely about the Terra Guild. I should probably jump straight back in shouldn't I? ;D

I had my char leave the tavern before I went on holiday. I don't really see how to get into it properly: it seems to me like you had to be in the first one. *shrugs* Maybe some other time.

Not at all, in fact there are a couple of very active people who are in it that weren't in the first one already. The first members of the Guild were the ones who just happened to find one another shortly after arriving in Tamriel. But hey, your choice.

I know I could really use your political-spy expertise in the current plot, Illusionary.

Vrek is a mod! Tee-hee!
I just felt like it needed to be mentioned again. For some reason, I find it very cool.

Well, I just realized something! Literally right before I checked here and saw Illusionary was back, I was planning on wwiting this short story that has been swimming around in my head for a while, to give the loyal people who stayed something to do, but now that IN is back, that resposnabiltiy has rolled of my shoulders! Time to be lazy once again!

Well, one week later, and I have good news. I've actually gotten around to finishing the first part of my little story. Don't expect anything too soon, but just know I've been working on it. It actually turned out too be a bit longer then I expected it would.
