"Your world is very strange, as it seems to me. Multiple races fighting for the remarkably few resources hidden below your planet's crust. Deceivingly simple language, yet intriguingly advanced science." Yonathan grinned with pride as a tentacle moved from the Emperor's throne, sipping from an orange drink.
"But you are stupid." Yonathan's grin disappeared. "What has taken us barely a few centuries to accomplish, you take millennia! What we have reached through diplomacy, you have reached in war!"
Enôr. A, at least in comparison to Earth, rather large planet, an eighty-five million miles separated from its middle-sized sun, Leitil, and Leitil's silvery gas giant companion, Yeistu. From the planet's surface, these appear as two suns, a contrast of red and blue.
Three larger moons and a ring of smaller stellar objects orbit the planet at a safe distance: one moon is small, orange-coloured, and easily missed, while the two others, a large dark grey and an even larger forested moon, orbit each other, its surfaces unknown in these times.
Which times, the uninformed may ask: well, I shall answer. The age of the Nerhân Kêngship, of the great Empire of the Flame. The 58th year of Nërvûn ΛJ's reign: Greatest Kêng since the Conqueror, Eryne Tîwele, rose to the throne. A time of large battles and fires, a time of swords and song, a time of palaces and princes.
A time where heroes fought on both sides.
And who am I to know these times? I am Amak-Va, Imperial Scribe of Eyda, the Nerhân Capital. I am a Noruej, nigh immortal. I have seen this city grow from a small village to the sprawling metropolis it has become, and have seen its downfall and new rise thereafter.
But enough of me: this story, forgotten by historians, will not be forgotten by me. And it is about you.
The Story (will be updated as the RP continues)
The current Kêng of Nerhûn, the above-mentioned Nërvûn ΛJ, has just expanded the borders of his Empire even further beyond the Rindronas. It is a time of adventures. The Kêng of Nerhûn has put up messages all over the capital city of Eyda, saying that all those interested in finding back his disappeared sons, Crown Prince Eleyôs and Prince Aigânt, should arrive at the palace by the end of the week. If they do find his sons back, they will be handsomely rewarded.
Exposition
ALL EXPOSITION NEEDED FOR CHARACTERS IS IN THE CHARACTER SHEET THREAD.
All exposition not mentioned here may be asked for by PM or OOC.
Most exposition will be revealed during the RP, as the characters venture out of Eyda into the open world.
Detailed (but not up to date) exposition can be found here.
There are 4 main nations on Enôr: Relenôr, Cendôr, Frodead, and Nerhûn. There are others too, but we won't be visiting them right now.
Relenôr is a large nation to the north of Nerhûn, separated from it by a large bay and a small stroke of land, with icy islands in the north, and grassy fields cross-sectioned by silvery mountains in the south. It is inhabited by the Ken, and its main language is Ken'y.
Cendôr is another large nation, bordering Nerhûn on the west, consisting largely of jungles and swamp. It is inhabited by Mani; and the main language is Old Nerhân.
Frodead is a desert nation to the south of the Rindronas, south of Nerhûn. Its inhabitants are Kalur, its language is Eadenôrian.
Nerhûn is the main nation, consisting of large forests and many hills, with more than half of its borders coastline.
EYDA
Eyda is a large city, consisting of tall, white, round buildings in the centre, and sprawling wooden slums outside of its dark grey walls. Surrounding those slums are extensive farms and fields, beyond which lies a marsh.
The palace is a building high atop a seaside cliff, with one, large, round main tower, and three cone-shaped spires surrounding it.
