This is the basic template, but you are completely welcome to use a different one to suit your needs.
Name: Nickname: Race: Gender: Age: Birthsign:
Focus: Skills: (five major skills, five minor/non-game) Class: Class Description: You don't have to be detailed. I never liked this section anyway. General Appearance: I'd appreciate it if you didn't just slap a picture here.
Hair: Eyes: Height: Feet and inches, please. Build: Skin/Fur/Scales: Tattoos/Scars:
Personality: Be short or long here, it doesn't matter; we'll find out in the role play anyway. Nobody hides from us.
Weapon(s): Be realistic, I beg you. Clothing/Armour: As above.
Short Bio: Key word: short. The characters don't know the history, so the players shouldn't either. If you have a history that may cause something that will drastically affect the game, PM me and we'll work something out.

Name: Spurius Gratius Messala Nickname: Messala (or Baron Messala) Race: Imperial Gender: Male Age: 36 Birthsign: The Mage
Focus: Magic Skills: Major - Alteration, Alchemy, Speechcraft, Conjuration, Illusion. Minor - Mysticism, Governing, Mercantile, Penmanship. Class: Sorcerer Class Description: He certainly doesn't go calling himself a Sorcerer, but it is the most accurate description. He uses magic more as a tool than as an art or weapon. General Appearance: Of average height and girth, Messala looks like a sort of offshoot of a Nibenean Imperial. His lightly bearded face is not as heavy set as a Colovian's, but neither as pale as a Nibenean's. His face betrays the nature of less a politician and more a shrewd diplomat.
Hair: Dark brown, tied back. Eyes: Hazel. Height: 6' Build: Average Skin/Fur/Scales: Very slightly tanned from recent exposure to the sun. Tattoos/Scars: None.
Personality: While generally trying to maintain a calm, amiable demeanor, he cannot hide his natural scholarly passion for things new, unusual, and curious. Likewise, he struggles to hold back his temper when faced with blatant disrespect or misdemeanor.
Weapon(s): A silver dagger, never yet used. Clothing/Armour: Finely woven silk garments; loose-fitting crimson trousers, a white shirt with bright green vest, and a vibrant indigo coat over this, along with white gloves and black buckled shoes. In Cyrodiil, he is quite a sight.
Short Bio: Born and raised in Gideon, Messala, the son of a mage, was inducted into the wonderful world of Mages Guild politics all too early. And thus at the age of twenty-two did he take his formal leave of the guild, much to the disdain of his parents. But during this now-free time he chose to give his services where he thought they actually might be of some use: the Legion. In the service of the Empire, he dealt with the quelling of several rebellions and defenses from marauders in southwestern Argonia, and for distinguished service, he was granted a small barony on his retirement from the legion. Recently, however, he was called on by Ocato to serve the Empire again.

Name: Tyrol Mycroft Race: Breton Gender: Male Age: 38 Birthsign: The Shadow
Focus: Speed Skills: Athletics, Acrobatics, Marksman, Restoration, Unarmored, Cartography. Class: Scout Class Description: Scouts are found wherever there is untamed land. In armies, they move ahead of large groups, finding ambushes and poor land alike, in peaceful times they often serve as guides for travelers. General Appearance: Tyrol has an average appearance, though tanned skin and sunbleached hair stand out. Beyond that, it'd be hard to pick him out of a crowd.
Hair: Light brown, greying at the roots. Eyes: Brown Height: 5'11" Build: Slim and fit Skin/Fur/Scales: Tanned, but a healthy amount. Tattoos/Scars: None
Personality: The first thing one would notice about Tyrol is his jittery nature. It's easy to learn that he just doesn't like standing still. He is nice, and sociable, though has a tendency to pick onto anything at hand, always keeping himself busy. When it comes to fight, Tyrol isn't a warrior, and he knows it. When attacked, he makes it a priority to play to his strengths, and run away.
Weapon(s): Steel crossbow, with several iron bolts. Clothing/Armour: Heavy cloth shirt and pants. Leather boots with sharp steel cleats on the bottom, particularly under the toes, heel, and sticking out of the front, like cats claws. The boots are subtly enchanted to make him faster. He also wears two rings, one silver, also enchanted to make him faster, and one gold, unenchanted. Around his neck is an copper amulet with a sapphire set into it. When called upon, it also increases his speed for a short time, drastically more then his other two, which are constantly active. He tends to avoid using it, as he has found it rather costly to recharge it. Other items: Tyrol usually has a few potions, which fortify speed further. He also carries several maps, blank sheets of paper, and a few quills and inkwells with him. Short Bio: Tyrol led a long life. He started as son of a tanner, but joined the Imperial Legion when he was still young. After serving as an archer for two years, he left, spent a few years simply living life, then became a scout later on.

Name: Susanna Renette Nickname: Zanna, "That Freak with the dragon" Race: Breton Gender: Female Age: 20 Birthsign: The Apprentice
Physical description: Zanna is a pale, unathletic, bookish-looking girl with a heart-shaped face, pointy chin, thin nose and sweet smile. Her eyes are large sickly green orbs full of innocence and inquisitiveness, and her body is like an energy explosion waiting to happen. Her hair is thick honey-blonde and worn loose. Her build is curvy, having not lost them to a warrior's way of life. On first glance, she is fairly average, but at a closer look she can be quite cute.
Short History: Zanna is an inventor, and thus was often discredited at school. Apprenticed to the Arcane University, she was bullied young for her eccentric nature and bizarre magical theories, and for her many failures. Since then, she has advanced to the rank of Wizard in the guild, and has been shunted from chapter to chapter, nobody wanting to keep her long as explosions and disasters seem to follow her wherever she goes.
About the character: There are few spells that are safe from Susanna Renette's experimental hands. What is peculiar about Zanna is how she applies them- Zanna deals mostly in close-range and touch spells, though she can make the effects pretty large or minute. As a grandmaster enchanter, you'd think Zanna would get a lot of interest, but as it is her great skill is kept a secret. She is an amazing inventor and is fantastic in her knowledge of history and ancient magical spells. She is also obsessed with Ayleids and Dwemer in particular. Though highly skilled, being an inventor is highly experimental, and thus most of her projects fail- and fail spectacularly. As Zanna has devoted all of her time to magic, she is completely skilless in other areas- something she doesn't seem to mind at all.
Weapons: Zanna carries a glass dagger enchanted with feather.
Armor/Clothing: Zanna wears a blue-and-green plaid shirt with a brown bodice over the top. She also wears a long tan skirt and green velvet shoes. Atop her head sits a pair of enchanted dwemer goggles and she often wears a brown cloak when travelling.
Misc. Items: A mechanical/magical dragon by the name of Erloire. Erloire is about as big as a cat, and is made of scrap metal. His body resembles the skeleton of a dragon, but it is filled out with cold blue fire, stemming from the varla stone at his centre. This fire does not extend to his wings, which are simply metal frames. Erloire communicates mostly by whistling (letting off steam), clacking (snapping his jaws) and by his actions. Whether or not he understands people is unclear, and Zanna uses spells to give commands.

Name: Liniad the Caring Nickname: Lin Race: Imperial Gender: Male Age: 19 Birthsign: The Lady
Focus: Magic Skills: Alteration, Mysticism, Restoration, Hand-to-Hand, Speechcraft - ANY ADVICE ABOUT WHAT I CAN PUT FOR MINOR/NON-GAME SKILLS? Class: Healer
General Appearance: Is short and very thin, and looks like he could be snapped in half. However, his constant smile and bright eyes seem to make you want to hug him rather than kill him. Is not particularly attractive, but isn't ugly either.
Hair: Blonde, in a bowl-cut. Eyes: Light blue. Height: 5"4' Build: Hardly any muscle. Skin and bones. Skin: Pale. Tattoos/Scars: None.
Personality: Average intelligence, but has a great understanding of people and emotions. Loves to make friends with people. However, he is not interested in a relationship and is virtually not attracted to anyone. Is very passionate about helping others. Can be very influential and persuasive and is good at getting people to see things from his point of view. Does not agree with violence, but will fight if necessary, and if he believes it is for a worthy cause. Prefers stealth fighting to being exposed and is good at using hands instead of a weapon. Is selfless, however some people use this to take advantage of him. Thinks of himself as a peacekeeper. He knows that many people see him as unimportant because he is short and weak, but counter acts this by being a great speaker. He is happy with the way he is and ignores attempts to make fun of him. Possessions and appearance mean little to him.
Weapons: None Clothing/Amour: Wears a cotton shirt and cotton trousers, covered by a blue robe. Wears leather sandals. Does not wear armour normally.
Short Bio: Was born to Imperial parents. His father wanted him to join the infantry just as his 4 brothers had done. However, he was not like them and he wanted to become a healer. His father was ashamed of him and so banished him from the family, forcing him to get rid of his family name and take on his new name, Engurn the Caring. That was at the age of 14, and he has not seen any of his family since. Ever since, he has survived by offering healings for a small price.
I think I got rid of all the stuff about crystal hearts etc.
Can you help me with the minor skills bit please? What kind of thing do I need to put in there?

Chaos: approved, but I have seen Weevil in Rewriting History - as long as you're realistic with his magic, he's fine. Simmo: Approved; as for minor skills, they're just like major skills, only you aren't as experienced in them. And non-game skills are more mundane things like carving or tracking or some such thing. Both approved.

So if it's already approved I don't need to add minor skills right?

Hold it all and scratch the old sheet!
Name: Alyssa Stormfield Nickname: Stormfield the Mad Age: 27 Gender: Female Birthsign: The Apprentice Race: Breton
Physical Description: Average build, slightly smaller due to focusing on the magical. Green eyes, flowing black hair that reaches her sholders. Mental description: Rather unstable, but not usually in a dangerous way, she enjoys making things explode and making things live again.Loves Clyde and kittens. She can be talkative when she wants to be, and is a rather pleasant person despite her profession. Often oblivious to all but the most blatant insults and taunts, except those aimed towards her invention and profession. Despite appearing aloof, she is formidable in combat, with the aid of Clyde.
Class: Necromancer. Aside from normal necromantic practices, Alyssa studies alchemy to a far extent, creating an explosive-like concoction. She also Learned to wear light armor and wield a short blade for protection. Major Skills: Destruction, Mysticism, Conjuration, Alteration, Alchemy Minor Skills: Short Blade, Marksman, Light Armor Misc Skills: Rites and rituals, sacrifices, explosives,
Melee Weapon: Silver shortsword with a moderate Ice Enchantment. Ranged Weapon: Rusty Iron Crossbow in the coffin. 30 bolts. Misc Weapon: 6 explosive potions, attached to belt. Armor and Clothing: Dark black robes adorned with blood red gems. Light leather-and-mithril cuirass underneath, with two black, bloodstained leather gauntlets. Misc Items: Scalpel, Alchemical Apparatus, 5 large brown bags filled with powder used in explosive potions hanging from belt. Nord-Sized Coffin strapped to back, enchanted with feather to make the thing manageable. Contents of Coffin: -One (1) preserved Nord corpse, wrapped somewhat like a mummy; soul gem infused into skull, giving it somewhat of a personality. -One (1) set of alchemical apparatus. -One (1) enchanted Mace -One (1) love story with a tragic ending -One (1) alchemical formula for creating explosive potions
Bio: Alyssa was born to a family of mages and, from a young age, was encouraged to study the magical and arcane. Her family was not the most wealthy, but they were members of a small group of necromancers operating out of one of the many caves in Cyrodiil and could afford many texts and apparatus required for a proper magical and general education. Introduced at a young age to necromancy, she learned not to fear death but to see it as a beginning to a new purpose for the bodies used. She never questioned how the bodies came into their possession. She had a peaceful childhood, and sometime just after her twenty-first birthday, after receiving a license which granted her one permanent corpse servant and a slew of dead convicts to experiment on, she encountered a ghost in the tomb of a wealthy nord she had just visited for a reliable, preserved servant. Before she could get rid of it, the spirit drained part of her mind while inadvertently boosting another, giving her a wonderous insight into the world, at the cost of becoming rather naive. This inspired her to go into seclusion and study the alchemical. While in the cave, she infused the corpse of the Nord she stole with a black Soul gem containing a bosmer she had slain. Her servant now had a semblance of life, at least enough to be useful- and helped her with her tasks over the years as she studied formulae to improve the alchemical. Eventually, while trying to create something completely unrelated to explosions or fire, which was unusual as she enjoyed both, the compound exploded, taking a chunk out of her servant and destroying several apparatus. Quickly, she jotted down the ingredients used and spent time refining it into a more controllable nature, until eventually they could be activated at will by someone moderately skilled with magic. Eventually, soon after completing her new creation, she packed up Clyde, which is what she had named her minion, and her equipment and headed into the countryside, leaving a few skeletons and zombies to keep the place warm. Or, cold, as the case may be.
Notes: Alchemical Explosives activated by sending a current of magicka through the potion, then throwing the potion at a target. As it shatters, the magicka triggers a reaction combined with the kinetic force of the impact, making it violently and brightly explode. Having not quite figured out the specifics yet, she has been quoted saying "It is sort of like a centipede. If it doesn't worry about each little leg and only looks at the whole thing, it can move all its little legs just fine. If it focuses too much on one of those individual legs, it might hit a building and kill everyone inside in a violent and fiery death." The powder Is completely safe while not combined with the rest of the mixture. Do not let children get near the mixture. For that matter, do not let anyone get near the mixture.
Name: Clyde Race: Nord (Mummy, Bosmer soul) Class:Warrior Weapon: Extremely weak fire enchanted steel mace, to the point where it would only be a bit hot to get hit with. Enchanted mainly so it could defend Alyssa from spirits. Description: Wrapped in yellowish white cloth, he is decaying and sewn up from various explosions. The organs necessary for him to function properly as an undead servant have had a few replacements courtesy of Alyssa. He has a black soul gem jammed and infused into his head, giving him the soul of a bosmer who Alyssa had slain. Personality: Loyal to a fault and enjoys philosophical debates and chicken. Home: Coffin on Alyssa's back. Bio: Theorin the Wood elf didn't know what hit him. One moment he was walking to Chorrol, the next he felt like he was being pulled, the next he felt trapped and alone in a pitch black room, and the next he was looking through the eyes of a slightly stinky Nord and seeing someone who he had an irresistible desire to serve and care for. Brisskar Frost-Bringer's corpse didn't see it coming either.

I'm close to approving her, but just one thing I need explained: what with necromancy being illegal, how has she managed to stay under the radar with a coffin on her back?

Hmm? Oh, its not 'quite' illegal. With proper legion and government documents and licenses and such, legion sponsored necromancers who are willing to aid the empire are given corpses of convicts and such with which to use. Didn't I include the license somewhere in there?
