I've been told to be patient, that things were in hand. Cryptic clues have been given and, on my part, clumsily interpreted. Ideas threads have been put up, discussions have been had, and suggestions suggested and decisions decided. And I've waited, and waited, and waited... and, as I'm sure you are all quite familiar with by now, I am an extremely patient and laid back individual. But I think that now the time has come. I've waited long enough. You've teased me for too long. FC, Tom, if one of you does not make a Dragon RP, I'm going to cry- or worse, buy Simmo a video camera let him loose upon the world and Youtube as he's hardly dared to dream. I'll try and be extra helpful!!! Of course, if you could wait a week to do so, I would be incredibly grateful.

A Dragon RP aye? I concur with Illusionary! There should be an RP with Dragons!
Seriously though I'm surprised one hasn't been made already though.

I was a Dragon myself in it, and it was by FAR the best RP I have ever had the pleasure of participating in. Flame Dancer, my dragon, became the most deep, history intensive character I have ever written. Seeing another one in the same universe and along the same lines as it would be a dream come true.

Wow that seems rather awesome actually! I wouldn't be RPing an actual Dragon of course if this did happen however. It must of been difficult I imagine, what was it like? Except from being the most "deep and intensive character you've ever written?

Wow that seems rather awesome actually! I wouldn't be RPing an actual Dragon of course if this did happen however. It must of been difficult I imagine, what was it like? Except from being the most "deep and intensive character you've ever written? It goes like this. In the Dragons world that FC4 created so long ago, the Dragons that exist from day to day are basically shapeshifters. They can shift from the massive, hundreds of feet long dragon forms to a simple human form, and achieve any look that they wish. Indeed, I even used that to my advantage one time, to impersonate the main character of FC's when he was going to walk into a trap so that the dragon could go in his place. They also are cursed. They have a trait called 'Bloodlust', which is basically a disease that lasts over a period of time. When they go too long without giving in to the bloodlust, and getting blood upon their claws as it were, then they will eventually snap and go on an uncontrollable rampage. I only saw one of those, and I was the one that perpetrated it, but it goes basically like this: The dragon is locked away in the back of their own mind, their body acting on its own. Though they can realize what they are doing, see every last thing - though their vision is hazed in red - they are unable to stop themselves or react in any way other than pure, malevolent rage. Flame Dancer himself fought and killed several of the group that he was traveling with in this state, after a forced transformation back to dragon form. A few paralysis spells were the only thing that saved the group from being killed entirely, and even then he was just about ready to eat the girl that he had fallen in love with. The dragons themselves are basically like normal, medieval dragons: They breathe fire, they come in various colors, fly, etc. etc. They are highly intelligent, however, and perfectly capable of speech, even when in draconic form. They share a kind of telepathic link thanks to their strong magical connections, and even have a ritual to bond themselves to a human, giving them brief connections to that link. There are many, many other nuances of draconic lore, but I'll leave it for FC4 to explain. There was much, much creativity in that RP...

I would most gladly do one, were it not for three things:
1) Any and all RPs made by me are destined for failure. 2) Pax Argonia was my dragon RP, but it didn't live long enough to get to the actual part with the dragons. 3) Though I do have another concept for one, I have refrained from posting it due to both reason #1 stated above as well as the fact that, FC4 has been stating for quite a while that he has one coming. And besides, FC's dragon lore is already well known by the old RPers here (myself excluded, but merely Web's summary makes be itch to see one like it).

I'd definitely be up for some good ol' fashioned Dragon Roleplaying. Nothing like centuries old, dragon breathing lizards the size of buildings to get the old imagination going, eh?

I'd certainly be in too if you guys want me! I feel I know enough about Dragon lore and stuff to take part.
But would we all have to actually be Dragons? If so I think that's a little too much for me.

I'd join.
but.
I'm no where near epic enough. And I don't know any of the Dragon lore.
I'd rather the RP be as epic as the days of yore, and so I probably wont join.

If so I think that's a little too much for me. Oh no no no. The Dragons are quite rare indeed. For the longest time, I was the only dragon present in the group. The others were all humans: Dragon slayers, originally. Flame Dancer's love was human - which brought him endless torment, by the way - his best friend was human - Horus, who was killed at the end of the first chapter, turning Flame Dancer quite cold - many of those he worked with were human, those that he killed were human... Dragons are actually a rather rare sight in the RP. As they are meant to be. The only time you meet dragons, are the times when you have one massive foe to fight, or during times of great trouble, when they have to aid human beings under attack by the sect of 'Evil' dragons that were present in the original RP. So no. You won't have to be all dragons. You may only see one or two during the entire roleplay. But those that ARE dragons... Well, they leave quite a mark behind them.

Actually Horus was killed at the end of Chapter Two.... the same chapter with the flying ship, and the unique villain/hero within the same body that I'd introduced. The bloodlust was a little deeper than Webster has stated, but that's the gist of the experience of it. It was quite an extensive rp, but never reached the story end as it ran itself into the ground. Tbh, I've just been too busy to think past the preliminaries on the story. However, the preliminaries are seeking to combine the Daea anti-magicka concept, the Daea vampirism and Bloodlust-corruption of Dragons. But there will not be any involvement of a Shadowhand figure. Maybe Sithis, but no Shadowhand. I could perhaps think on it during my trip, and while unpacking my stuff at the apartment. No ETA for a release on this rp, but if you are as desperate as you all claim.... perhaps there is a dire need of another Dragonic Roleplay... I will try my best to sate your appetites, but the massive shadow of Dragon's Saga looms over me intimidatingly. Do not expect it to be as good. Just to make it clear, not only will you not have to all play as dragons, I simply won't allow it. I will be limiting the number of dragons if I feel too many players are making them. Also, you need not be Epic Chaos. The beginnings of the Saga had Skooma Junkie and Adeth as the staple players, and they laid the groundwork with me for the story of the chapters to come. They were not skilled, neither was I, but we birthed an epic nonetheless.

Don't worry about trying to make this RP 'as good' as any of your previous ones, Frank. Just focus on making it as best you can, and I'm sure you'll surprise even yourself at how good it'll be.
Same goes for you, Chaos; don't worry about trying to be 'epic.' Just go with what you're comfortable with, and you'll be surprised the interesting things that can happen. Hell, my most interesting RP character to date started off in probably the most bland and unprofessional manner I could possibly have imagined.
Ah, the good ol' days...
